We had a great 10 day stay. Convenient location. The staff is very dog friendly. Lots of places to walk the dogs. Safe parking. They even have a few Foreman grills to loan out. Awesome! If we end up back in Lansing, we will be back.

They have the best pillows! I stay every weekend for work. The service is always great. Curly at candle wood is always so pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean, free laundry and a beautiful setting on the golf course. Rates are very reasonable.

Clean, reasonably priced, great staff. Great location for MSU. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Far enough away from trains and other city noise that you get good sleep. The only unfortunate issue was noisy neighbors letting their kids and dogs be loud in the hallway. We were awake early, so we didn't complain, but had we been asleep, it easily would have ruined the peace and quiet. Will still stay here again but will definitely insist on a room away from kids and pets next time.

We visit this property often because I am a student on campus and my husband works nearby. We see Curly often. Today my work had me there way later than normal so I asked Curly for some help and she helped me out in a heart beat! We like staying at this property.

Everything at Candlewood was perfect with one exception, The TV remote didn't work. We called the front desk and re-programmed it 4 times. When that didn't work we went to the front desk and they did the same. It still did not work. …

The staff was very freindly and the room was very well maintained. The refrigerator and silverware/cupware was a very nice addition. While I understand that traditional housekeeping is going away, having someone change out the towels and replenish the coffee on a daily basis should be the bare minimum.
